Tired and Ranting

I'm so I'm tired. And beat. Long day, and I felt like killing slapping my boss today. Sometimes life just sucks so bad. I don't have ANY idea how I'm going to pay all my bills this month and my "significant other" is like, so totally insignificant - ya know what I mean? Good in the sack, that's about it. When it comes to dollars, he's a zero dot zero zero dot cum. Wish he wasn't such a hunk, I'd tell him to take his empty pockets for a loooooong hike and never come back.

I don't know why I'm posting this. Guess I just need to rant.

Martin Luther King Jr - He Paved the Way for Obama

I spend so much time reading other people's great blogs that I hardly ever post myself - LOL - But today I just feel like it. So there. Haha.

No, really, it's Martin Luther King Jr. Day and I just wanted to say "thank you" to the memory of such a wonderful man, a great leader and a champion for so many. His "dream" was not just for a better world fir his fellow African Americans. His dream was for all Americans, regardless of color, ethnic background, religion, whatever to live in peace and harmony with liberty and justice for all. A truly great American he was, and I'm still sad he was lost to us so young and through such a senseless killing.

God bless and keep you, Martin Luther King Jr., and wherever you are, I know you MUST be smiling this week as the first ever African American swears in as President of the United States of America. The work you did, Martin, helped pave the way for this historical happening. We have not forgotten you. We still love you.

Marvaholics Anonymous

I'm like all new to blogging. Well, I mean I'm a BIG blog reader and lover, but just started my own blog recently. And I already got one follower! YAY!

So recently I've been following Marvin Wilson's blog, Free Spirit. He's this crazy guy, funny, smart, calls himself a "spiritualist Christian." I Got a Blog!!

Hey - hello! I'll bet nobody's reading this, because it's my FIRST post on my FIRST EVER blog. But that's okay, you have to start somewhere and sometime, right?

But if you DO happen to read this, I want to say "Happy Thanksgiving" to every one and many happy holiday wishes to you and yours.

I haven't even decided what to write about on this blog yet, but I'll be dreaming up something.
